Celebrations

Antoine and I celebrated our birthdays and we both got promotions! He is now a Color Theory Critic and I am now a Community Manager! 

Tomorrow is Winterfest and we can't wait to see the kids' faces light up in the morning. They're so excited to see what Father Winter brings them and I won't lie, I'm excited to see what he brings Antoine and me, too!

What a wonderful year it's been!

Busy, Busy, Busy!

It's been a while since I've written. Keeping up with two little ones and a full time career sure does keep the days full! Antoine has created some absolutely stunning paintings including multiple masterpieces which have all been sold to the local art gallery. His name is starting to become more widely known, but you'd never know it to talk to Antoine. He's still as humble and down-to-earth as ever. I'm so proud of him!

My career is going well also! I've been promoted a few times since I last wrote and am now a Public Relations Coordinator with 225 followers! I've been working on raising my following count as well as improving my writing skill. It won't be long before I'll be networking with journalists and working toward my next promotion!

Brooke and Braylon have been growing so quickly I find myself truly in awe of them. They're both doing well in school and socially. They have many friends and even actually play well together, contrary to the many warnings about sibling rivalry I've gotten from other moms in the neighborhood. I'm very proud of them!

Twins!

What better time to start a journal than the birth of a baby...or two?! Brooke and Braylon LeGacy were born happy, healthy, and beautiful! Antoine and I are immensely proud to be the parents of such amazing little blessings!

We were surprised, to say the least, to learn that we were having twins. We were prepared for one baby, but we had to go out and repeat all our new-baby purchases. We were happy to do so, though. Thankfully, between Antoine's painting career and my social media career both taking off and doing well, we are financially comfortable. Not rich, mind you, but comfortable. More importantly, we are so very happy. It seems we've had nothing but goodness since our marriage and we are well aware of how lucky we are.

Toddlers and Chaos!

Brooke and Braylon are growing quickly and we just celebrated their birthday. Time is going so quickly, it seems like we were just preparing to bring them home from the hospital and now Antoine and I are running around chasing toddlers and baby-proofing the house! Those chubby-cheeked smiles sure make all the chaos well worth it, though. Next step: Potty training! Wish us luck!
